Overview:
This speculative feed redesign reimagines Glossier’s Instagram presence. While Glossier has an iconic visual brand, I challenged myself to evolve it by introducing a more structured grid, elevated quote content, and refreshed highlight covers to enhance brand clarity and cohesion.

Design approach:
I introduced a three-tier content strategy: product visuals, brand storytelling, and community-focused content. The redesigned highlight icons use simple line art with blush pink backdrops to reflect Glossier’s signature aesthetic. Typography remains soft and modern, but is now more consistent across the grid.

Results

This Instagram feed redesign brought new structure and strategy to a well-known brand while staying true to its original identity. By introducing clearer content categories and minimalist icons, the concept improved flow and consistency across the grid. Softened tones and strategic content placement helped elevate the aesthetic without losing relatability. This project strengthened my skills in social content planning and brand evolution, especially within beauty. The final redesign demonstrates my ability to adapt an existing brand identity while introducing fresh ideas.
