Overview:
This case study is based on a deep research report conducted on San Pacho, a rising figure in the electronic music scene. The purpose was to evaluate his market presence, audience growth, and performance across platforms and to propose strategies for greater brand visibility and fan engagement.

The report explores the evolution of electronic music as a genre, San Pacho’s current impact within it, and how data can be used to inform branding and promotional decisions.

Approach:
The research included a full artist profile (discography, biography, branding tone), analysis of key stakeholders and collaborators, and a breakdown of his audience demographic. I gathered qualitative and quantitative data to map out San Pacho’s current positioning and growth trajectory.

Additionally, I formulated a clear central objective supported by primary and secondary research questions, guiding the structure of the report. The project culminated in an artist evaluation, responding directly to the research goals and presenting actionable insights.

Outcome:
I concluded the research with five strategic recommendations to help optimize San Pacho’s visibility and fan engagement, including:

  • More strategic content planning around releases

  • Strengthening his TikTok presence with remixable content

  • Launching limited-time merch drops post-tour

  • Partnering with eco-conscious events (aligning with EDM sustainability trends)

  • Expanding reach in top-performing cities through localized digital ads

Results

Through in-depth research and data analysis, the project provided a clear picture of San Pacho’s current standing in the electronic music industry. By reviewing Spotify and social media metrics, I identified growth patterns tied to specific events and releases, such as spikes in engagement after tour dates. The findings highlighted the importance of consistent content and active fan engagement, especially on platforms like Instagram and Spotify where his audience is most concentrated. The final report offered five targeted strategic recommendations to help San Pacho expand his reach, improve platform use, and sustain long-term audience interest. This project sharpened my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of music marketing through real-time data interpretation.
